LFDS were appointed to design a Youth Hub for Aldar’s own staff on the first floor mezzanine of the iconic Aldar HQ in Abu Dhabi. The brief is casual yet sophisticated to befit the brainstorming, meetings, collaboration and respite that will happen within. A fresh and colourful palette has been used complemented by a racing green paint which has been applied to the exposed soffit and services to provide an unusual twist. The closed meeting room has a pale blue, serene palette which has been applied to the back painted magnetic and writeable wall surface, the ceiling and in the concrete pigment for the floor.
